Cams are manufactured in all materials, carbon and alloy steels, tool steel, stainless steel, cast iron, meehanite, SG iron, bronze, plastics and we maintain a close relationship with major heat-treatment companies for a wide range of processes, including flame-hardening, induction hardening, nitriding, carburising, and straight hardening, 

 Our quality control is well equipped to handle all general machining features and is specifically equipped with computer controlled measuring and 3-axis co-ordinate measuring machines for generated profiles. As part of our ISO 9002 system all gauges are calibrated with traceablitity to national standards and are administered by a computer dedicated to the purpose.

Most cams produced have heat-treatment requirements and our in-house facility includes Rockwell, Vickers, Equotip and Emcotest Hardness checking together with Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetrant crack detection and Nital Etching.

CNC cam milling and grinding using state of the art

 know-how on Kopp FSK 32 machines using high speed milling, plain or planetary grinding with centre path compensation and 180o 'look ahead' facility. Our policy of continual investment keeps us at the forefront of profiling technology.

All parts are fully traceable and records maintained up to 10 years.
